Who we are

What we collect

To make the planner: your child's first name, school year, and the choices you make in the builder (subjects, days, rewards, theme). If you choose it, their name in another alphabet. For a Family Pack, the other children's first names and school years.
To send it: your email address and your order number.
For printed charts: the delivery name and address you enter at checkout.
Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.

We ask for first names only. Please don't enter surnames or other details about your child.

Why we use it

To make, send and support your order (performance of a contract).
To keep records for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
To answer your questions (legitimate interests).

We never use your child's name or planner in marketing, and we never sell your information.

Who we share it with

Stripe: payments.
Netlify: website hosting and secure storage of orders.
Resend: sending order emails.
[PRINT PARTNER]: printing and posting fridge charts (delivery name and address only).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, using safeguards approved under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep planner settings for 12 months so we can re-send or redesign your planner, then delete them. We keep order and payment records for 6 years for tax purposes.

Cookies

Our website doesn't currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add any in future, we'll ask for your permission first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to how we use it, by emailing hello@starringweek.com. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
